Algonquin Films, LLC. is a San Francisco based independent production company. We are a dynamic faction of innovative and unique filmmakers that crafts each piece of work with the utmost care and professionalism. Our team of directors, producers and writers have all come from different backgrounds in the industry, each bringing an individual talent with them. We use our creative diversity as a strength; fusing classical cinematic skill with a distinctive experimental approach.

AEDAN MCHUGH
FOUNDER, WRITER
Aedan began working in the world of film as a Photographer and Camera Operator in Nashville, TN. After years working freelance in the bay area, it became clear to him that many of the things he was working on were failing to meet their artistic potential. Upon meeting Bastian in 2015, the two decided to create their own production company that championed creativity and identity, allowing each works' artistry to shine.
DIEGO IBARRA
PRODUCER, Director of Operations
Diego was born in Chihuahua Mexico and from his early years he figure it out that his life was to become a producer of daily life. Knowing Bastian and Aedan from along time they decided to open a new office based in Mexico City where they now work on different projects all around Mexico.
NANDO SASCO
DIRECTOR, ASSISTANT DIRECTOR
Fernando first discovered his love for film as a young boy in Uruguay. That love followed with him when he moved to the States, where he won a film contest as a high school junior in Tracy, CA. This cemented his decision to pursue a life of filmmaking, and has since been building a career as a director in the bay area.
